The Stillman Valley High School chess team traveled for the Huntley Red Raider Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 9. The Cardinals finished fifth out of 16 schools in the tournament.

So far this season, the Oregon boys bowling team is currently 14-2 in dual matches and have captured two tournaments including the Hawk Invitational and the LaSalle Peru Cavalier Classic.

Oregon High School is excited to announce that one of its exceptional students, junior Ella Dannhorn, has been chosen to represent the United States in the international indoor fast pitch softball tournament, "The Cup." The tournament will be held in the Netherlands from Jan. 10-17, showcasing top-tier high school athletes from around the world.

Former Byron High School football and wrestling standout Tyler Elsbury was honored by the University of Iowa football program, earning the team’s Next Man Up Award during the team’s awards banquet in early December.

The Oregon Hawks boys bowling team competed at the LaSalle-Peru Cavalier Classic at IV Super Bowl in Peru on Dec. 9 and came away with their second consecutive tournament championship, with junior Gavvin Surmo setting several Oregon school records.
