Former Byron High School football and wrestling standout Tyler Elsbury was honored by the University of Iowa football program, earning the team’s Next Man Up Award during the team’s awards banquet in early December. The 6-foot-5, 312-pounder played in 12 games for the Hawkeyes during the 2023 season, helping the team reach the Big Ten Championship Game.
