SHERRARD — The Byron High School varsity boys basketball team continued its perfect season at the Mike Hutchins Holiday Tournament in Sherrard from Dec. 28-29. The Tigers improved to 11-0 and claimed the crown with wins over Illinois Valley Central (66-53), Alleman (68-37) and host Sherrard (46-37). Three players including Jack Hiveley, Ryan Tucker and Cason Newton earned All-Tournament Team honors.
