CHICAGO — The Byron High School varsity football team was recognized along with each of the IHSA State Championship winners at Soldier Field on Dec. 10, when the Chicago Bears hosted the Detroit Lions in an NFC North Division game.
The Tigers watched as the Bears beat the Lions 28-13. On display were the team’s IHSA State Championship trophy as well as the team’s helmet and uniform. Highlights were also displayed on the video board inside the stadium.
