Congratulations to the Stillman Valley High School varsity chess team on placing second in the Northern Illinois Chess League Tournament. The Stillman Valley High School JV chess team earned first place in the event.
The varsity team went 6-1 over seven regular-season matches and was ranked third in the league and second in its division before the conference tournament.
