STILLMAN VALLEY – Stillman Valley High School wrestlers competed at the IHSA Sectionals at Oregon High School recently.

Sophomore Donovan Crumpacker (113 lb.), Freshman Aidan Livingston (120 lb.), and Senior Logan Jennings (182 lb) will advance to the State finals.

“This is an honor for these three athletes and is a testament to the hard work they put in in during the wrestling season but definitely during the off-season,” said Heather Alderks, the SVHS Activity Director.

Logan Lagerhausen qualified as an alternate.

They competed February 20-22 at the Individual State Tournament in Champaign at the State Farm Center. The Stillman Valley Wrestling Club took a fan bus to cheer the boys on.

“It’s great to see a number of our kids earn the opportunity to compete down state,” said Jamie McCarty, SVHS wrestling coach. “Wrestling is a long season both mentally and physically.  It’s great to see hard work and commitment pay off.”
