BYRON – On the second Saturdays in April and May, the Byron Museum of History is hosting two Spring markets for the Sunshine Park Farmer’s Market vendors, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Visit the indoor market on April 13 and May 11 for unique Mother’s Day gifts and tasty treats.
Products provided by local vendors include; homegrown produce, handmade gifts, baked goods, and all natural body care. Libra Farms will be selling early produce and cut flower bouquets, Clarene Moser will be selling her pies and desserts, and Heirloom Industries will have quilting fabric and kits available. Ewald’s Popcorn, Bechard’s Botanicals, Gems of the Earth, and Barefoot Books will be onsite in both April and May along with many others. Museum and Indoor Farmer’s Market admission is always free.
The Byron Museum of History is dedicated to preserving the Byron area’s rich history through exhibits, programs, and artifact preservation. The Museum Complex consists of a large exhibit hall with varied displays and encompasses the historic Read House - which is a listed site on the National Park Service Underground Railroad “Network to Freedom.”
Permanent museum exhibits include; Agriculture Then and Now, Underground Railroad, Local Veterans, Byron Business, Outhouses, Trains, and A.G. Spalding. Open Wednesday-Saturday 10 a.m.-3 p.m., located at 110 North Union Street, Byron. More information at www.byronmuseum.org.
