Robert L. Gouker “Bob” of Ruskin, Fla., formally of Oregon and Mt. Morris, passed away peacefully at home on June 12, 2020. Bob was born March 11, 1933 to Charles and Ruth (Lingle) Gouker.
He married Bernice Boomgarden in Oregon on Oct. 28, 1956. He was a member of the first Presbyterian Church of Oregon. In Florida he attended St. Andrews Presbyterian.
Bob loved gardening. He was a talented stain glass artist. He raised beautiful Orchids. His biggest love was the time he spent with his Granddaughter’s and family.
He is survived by his wife; Bernice of 63 years, Ruskin, Fla. His daughter Cindy (Tom) Leiter of Fremont, Mich. His daughter-in-law Virginia (Dalberg) Gouker of Chana. 3 granddaughters, Stacey (Bryan) Scheffler of Mt. Morris. Sarah (Dan) Olree of Traverse City, Mich., and Emma Leiters of Fremont, Mich., and 1 great granddaugther Riley Olree of Traverse City. He is also survived by his sister Glady’s Hiscox of West Chicago and brother Kenneth Gouker, Orangeville and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his son Robert “Scott” Gouker, Chana. His sister Barb Gouker of Mt. Morris. Brother Donald Gouker, Ruskin, Fla. Sister-in-law Mary Gouker. Brother in law Oran Hiscox, and his parents Charles and Ruth Gouker, Mt Morris.
