At 1:25 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a hit and run traffic crash in the 100 block of S. 4th Street involving an unknown vehicle that struck a 2019 Dodge belonging to Barry L. Mingus, 52, Oregon. Mingus’ vehicle was parked behind the unknown vehicle. Anyone having any information, please contact the Oregon Police Department at 815-732-2162.
May 28
At 7:05 a.m., Oregon Police responded to a suspicious person call in the 200 block of N. 3rd Street resulting in the arrest of Carl D. Pitt, 77, Oregon, for criminal trespass to a vehicle. Pitt was transported to the Ogle County jail.
May 29
At 3:42 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash in the 200 block of W. Washington Street involving a 2005 Lincoln driven by Joshua A. Larrin, 34, Sterling, and a 2008 Ford driven by Robert M. Bushman, 66, Mt. Morris. Larrin was arrested for driving while license suspended. Larrin was also issued citations for improper use of registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Larrin was transported to the Ogle County jail.
At 7:32 p.m., Oregon Police issued Bonnie S. Burger, 61, Oregon, citations for no valid registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. These violations occurred in the 1000 block of Jefferson Street.
May 30
At 2:04 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of IL Route 2 and Pines Road involving a 2007 Ford driven by Kari A. Jaskiewicz, 49, Mt. Morris, and a 2013 Toyota driven by Marjory C. Krueger, 63, Dixon. Jaskiewicz was issued citations for improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
At 6:09 p.m., Oregon Police issued Jessamir A. Palencia, 24, Mt. Morris, a citation for failure to wear a seat belt as a driver. This violation occurred in the 400 block of W. Washington Street.
At 9:27 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a suspicious person call in the 200 block of N. 3rd Street resulting in the arrest of Andrew N. Bjorkman, 30, of Mundelein, IL, on an outstanding McHenry County warrant for domestic battery. Bjorkman was transported to the Ogle County jail.
May 31
At 1:30 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Christina G. Jordan, 40, Oregon, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for credit card fraud. Jordan was transported to the Ogle County jail.
June 1
At 9:51 p.m., Oregon Police issued Heather A. Zimmermann, 41, Mt. Morris, a citation for driving while license suspended. This violation occurred in the 300 block of Jefferson Street.
At 11:29 p.m., Oregon Police issued James E. Miller, 65, Dixon, a citation for disobeying a traffic control device. This violation occurred at the intersection of 4th and Washington Streets.

At 10:50 a.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of W. Washington and S. 5th Streets involving a 2000 Mack Semi driven by Kerry L. Hix, 64, of Oswego, IL, and a 2003 Honda driven by Amy M. Branscomb, 36, of Chadwick, IL. No citations were issued.
At 2:31 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Madeline M. Wright, 28, Freeport, for driving while license suspended. Wright was also issued citations for speeding, 40 mph in a 30 mph zone and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Wright was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 300 block of N. 4th Street.
At 8:23 p.m., Oregon Police issued Roberda M. Lawrence, 50, Rockford, a citation for operating a vehicle with an expired registration. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.
June 5
At 2:10 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Chelsie N. Boyer, 28, Oregon on an outstanding Ogle County warrant on a theft charge. Boyer was transported to the Ogle County jail.
June 8
At 5:19 p.m., Oregon Police issued Adom K. Quansah, 23, DeKalb, a citation for speeding, 44mph in a 30mph zone. This violation occurred in the 600 block of S. 4th Street.
At 5:42 p.m., Oregon Police issued Dana M. Amendolare, 28, Mt. Morris, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 600 block of Gale Street.
June 9
At 1:13 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of W. Washington Street resulting in the arrest of Shavon R. White, 38, Oregon, for domestic battery. White was transported to the Ogle County jail.
3:22 p.m., Oregon Police issued Ashley A. Anderson, 35, Dixon, a citation for unlawful tinted windows. This violation occurred in the 500 block of S. 4th Street.
