At 3:17 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash at the intersection of S. 3rd and Hill Streets involving a 1993 Chevrolet driven by Matthew W. Brennan, 43, Rockford, struck a 1998 Chevrolet driven by Megan R. Larson, age 26, Pontiac, IL. No citations were issued.

At 11:18 a.m., Oregon Police investigated a one-vehicle traffic crash where a 2019 Ford driven by Matthew P. Pendergrass, 40, Byron, struck a median sign. Pendergrass was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

At 4 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a truck vs power line traffic crash in the 300 block of Gale Street where a 2010 truck owned by Bellissimo Distribution, LLC and driven by Narciso Zamudio, 61, Rockford, struck the guide wire to a utility pole, causing the transformer to spark. No citations were issued.

At 10 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of N. 5th Street resulting in the arrest of Eric E. Brown, 25, Oregon, for disorderly conduct and aggravated assault. Brown was transported to the Ogle County jail.

At 8:51 p.m., Oregon Police issued Cristina Bushland, 43, Rochelle, a citation for disobeying a traffic control device. This violation occurred at the intersection of Webster and 10th Streets.

At 4:07 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash in the 400 block of W. Washington where a 2005 Chrysler driven by Hunter D. Furman, 21, Stillman Valley, struck a 2013 Dodge driven by Mackenzie D. Graham, 27, Oregon. Furman was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. A passenger in Furman’s vehicle, Nolan M. Wortman, 21, Stillman Valley, was issued a citation for unlawful possession of cannabis as a passenger.
