At 9:41 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Zachary J. Popp, 24 of Mt. Morris, for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, a class 2 felony, after completing an investigation into the incident. Popp was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held pending an appearance before a judge.

March 11

The following people were arrested on outstanding Ogle County warrants:

Sergio Garcia, 45 of Rochelle, for Failure to appear. Garcia posted the $450 full cash bond and was released with no further court dates.

Neopatra Hawkins, 22 of Dekalb, for Failure to appear. Hawkins posted the $156 full cash bond and was released with no further court dates.

The following people were arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrants:

Nicholas Hartman, 20, of Freeport for Failure to Appear Warrant. Hartman had a bond of $456 and Hartman did post bond. Hartman will not have to return for court and was released from the Ogle County Jail.

Lloyd Hernandez, 29, of Sterling for Failure to Appear Warrant. Hernandez had a bond of $892. Hernandez was given a $1,000 recog, released from jail, and will return to court on 03/25/19 at 9 a.m.

Pamela Knapik, 53, of Wonderlake for Failure to Appear Warrant. Knapik had a bond of $2511. Knapik was  given a $1,000 recog, released from jail, and will return to court on 03/25/19 at 9 a.m.

Scott Shirley, 30, of Mt. Morris for Disorderly Conduct  Warrant. Shirley had a $3,000 bond. Shirley was given a $3,000 recog, released from jail, and will return to court on 03/29/19 at 9 a.m.

March 10

At approximately 9:36 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 8,000 block of East Illinois Route 64 with a motorist assist.  After investigation Deputies placed Lenisha Kearney, 20 of Streamwood, under arrest for Driving While License Suspended.  Kearney was also issued a citation for Operating an Uninsured Vehicle. Kearney was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.

March 9

At approximately 9:42 a.m. Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies performed a traffic stop at the intersection of Flagg Road and Tampam Drive. After investigation Deputies placed Vincent Tabor, 42 of Oregon, under arrest for No Valid Driver's License. Tabor was also issued a citation for No Valid Registration. Tabor was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

March 8

At 10:18 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a check welfare in the 9000 block of N. Kishwaukee Rd, to check on a male subject slumped over the wheel of a vehicle parked in the ditch.  After an investigation, Mitchell Semple, age 30, of Byron was arrested for Driving Under The Influence Of Alcohol. Mitchell was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

March 7

The following were arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrants:

Corey Jenkins, 43, of Freeport for Failure to Appear. Jenkins has a bond of $189 and will go to court on 03/08/19 at 1 p.m. Jenkins will remain in the Ogle County Jail.

Cory Terrell, 35, of Dekalb for Failure to Appear. Terrell has a bond of $1,554 and will go to court on 03/08/19 at 1 p.m. Terrell will remain in the Ogle County Jail.

Tavaris McDonald, 28, of Rockford for Failure to Appear. McDonald has a bond of $195 and will go to court on 03/08/19 at 1 p.m. McDonald will remain in the Ogle County Jail.

Cheryl Schabacker, 48, of Stillman Valley for Failure to Appear. Schabacker has a bond of $836 and will go to court on 03/08/19 at 1 p.m. Schabacker will remain in the Ogle County Jail.
