At 6 p.m., Deputies responded to the 5000 block of East Bradley Road in Byron for a report of a disturbance. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Charles R. Brown, 56 of Byron, for Disorderly Conduct. Brown was transported to the Ogle County Jail and will appear in court at a later date.

Nov. 23

At approximately 6:24 p.m. Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a three vehicle accident at the intersection of Pines Rd and Lowell Park Rd. An investigation into the accident revealed an eastbound Fiat being driven by Jessica Johnson, 25 of Dixon attempted to turn left across the oncoming lane of traffic at which time her vehicle was struck by a westbound Chevrolet. Following the initial impact, Johnson's vehicle then collided with a northbound Buick which was waiting to turn right at the stop sign on Lowell Park Rd. The Chevrolet continued traveling eastbound following the collision where it traveled through a wooden fence before coming to a rest.  Johnson was cited for an Improper Left Turn.  Deputies were assisted at the scene by Polo Fire/EMS, Mt Morris Fire/EMS, and Advance EMS. The accident remains under investigation.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Illinois Rt 26/Illinois Rt 64 (Dogwood Inn Restaurant). An investigation revealed a westbound Jeep being driven by Michael Damhoff, 44 of Morrison failed to stop at the stop sign. The Jeep then traveled through the T-intersection where it entered a retention pond.  The Jeep then traveled up an embankment causing it to become airborne. Damhoff was cited for Failure to Yield at a Stop Sign. Deputies were assisted at the scene by Polo Fire/EMS and Mt Morris Fire/EMS.  The accident remains under investigation.

Nov. 22

At 5:42 a.m., the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, Rochelle Fire Department, and the Rochelle ambulance responded to a 3 vehicle accident on I39 mm 100. A chrysler 200 was southbound on I39 passing a semi tractor trailer combination that was also southbound. At the same time a semi tractor trailer combination was northbound on I39 at mm 100 when a tire/wheel combination came off of the semi tractor trailer combination. the tire/wheel combination crossed the center median striking the chrysler 200 in the front bumper. The impact caused the Chrysler 200 to strike the side of the southbound semi tractor trailer combination. The Chrysler 200 came to a stop in the center median where it became fully engulfed in flames. The driver of the Chrysler 200, Kevin Adamski, 33 of Chana, was able to exit the vehicle safely. Adamski was transported to Rochelle Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the southbound semi tractor trailer combination Paul Irlacher, 52, of Cherry Valley and the driver of the northbound semi tractor trailer combination Jose Acevedo, age 48, of Chicago were not injured in the accident.

Nov. 19

Ogle County Deputies arrested Anthony Cuchiara, 23, of Hillcrest on an Ogle County Warrant for a Traffic Offense. Cuchiara appeared in court on 11/19/19 at 1 p.m. He has a bond of 10,000/10 percent. Cuchiara is held at the Ogle County Jail in lieu of bond with a return court date on 11/20/19 at 1 p.m.

Nov. 18

At 1:59 p.m. Ogle County Deputies arrested Jamie C. Donovan, 28, of Rochelle on an Ogle County Warrant for a Traffic Offense. Donovan will go to court on 11/19/19 at 1 p.m.

Nov. 13

Moni Magar, 23 of Aurora, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for Failure To Appear. Magar has a $825 bond. Magar posted bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail with no return court date.
