Norma (Hiatt) Frank, 88, of Byron passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 25th, 2020 at Generations of Neighbors. She was born Oct. 29, 1934 in Rockford, the daughter of Lee S. and Roma (McKern) Hiatt.
Norma married Howard L. Frank on Aug. 18, 1951 in Rockford. She worked at Rockford Public School District 205 for 20 years. he enjoyed family time and making her chocolate chip cookies and her homemade pizza.
Norma is survived by her children, Deborah (special son-in-law, Gary) George of Rockford, Charles (Cindy) Frank of Byron, Mary (Todd) Swanson of Rockford; brother-in-law, Lloyd (Leah) Frank of south Beloit; sister, Doris Peterson of Byron, brother Ron Hiatt of Roscoe and sister Viola Schroeder of Rockton; grandchildren, Gary (Cindy) George Jr of Nashville, Tenn., Brenda Frank of Oklahoma, Joseph Garrett of Davis Junction, Mathew Frank; several great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; beloved Dog, Ollie.
Predeceased by her parents, spouse, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
