OREGON – Kevin S. Bettner, 62, lifelong resident of Oregon, passed away in his home the morning of Jan. 8.

Kevin enjoyed the outdoors and everything it had to offer. Every spring he looked forward to mushroom hunting and showing everyone his pot of gold when he returned. Deer hunting and fishing were also among his favorite past times. Through the years he loved his beagles and the simpler things in life like enjoying a beer and taking a break. Later in his life he found enjoyment in birdwatching, Kevin worked for HA International where he was employed for many years.

Survived by his wife Lori of 32 years 4 Children; Tricia (Mike) Egyed of Oregon, Tyler

(Felisha) Bettner of Mt. Morris, Lindsey Ingersoll of Mt. Morris, IL, Jake (Caitlyn) Bettner

of Chana, IL.

Grandchildren; Madison, Austin and Mya Egyed, Andrew, Chloe, Summer and Noah Bettner,

Owen, Tessa and Jolene Ingersoll Siblings; Roy Bettner of Dodgeville, Wis., Bonnie (Mike)

O’Connell and Mark (Barb) Bettner of Oregon.

Predeceased by his parents; Sedoris and Hazel Bettner Siblings; Virginia (Ginny) Suter,

Raymond (Pat), Edwin, and Gary Bettner.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
