OREGON – Jeanette Stubblefield, age 81, passed away at KSB Hospital in Dixon on Jan. 12, 2022. She was born in Rogersville, Tenn., on Feb. 14, 1940 the daughter of Ernest and Ruby (Leonard) Smith.

She married Albert Stubblefield on Oct. 14, 1963. Before she was married; Jeanette worked for Kingsport Press in Kingsport, Tenn. She then went on to work for Motorola in Schaumburg, IL for many years. Jeanette loved to camp with her family. In her spare time; she enjoyed reading, puzzles, and crosswords. She appreciated having a warm cup of coffee in the morning and was an excellent baker. Her family will miss her amazing freshly baked cookies.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Albert of Oregon; children, Debbie Vandolah of Rockford and Robert (Mary Keane) Stubblefield of Sycamore; siblings, Ernie Smith of Dyersburg, Tenn., Estel (Annette) Smith of Rogersville, Tenn., and Joan Holly of Milton, Fla.; grandchildren, Kris Stubblefield and Tyler (Kaley Pol) Stubblefield; great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and her Hansen’s Camping Family.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Geneva Hylton.
