Joseph H. Dyal

STILLMAN VALLEY – Joseph H. Dyal, age 76, a resident of Stillman Valley went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Dec. 13, 2012. He was born Aug. 28, 1936 in Palatka, Arkansas the son of James and Thelma (Verdier) Dyal.
Joe married Peggy Ward at Success, Arkansas on Oct. 1, 1955. He retired from J.L. Clark after 41 years as a Lithographer.
Joe was a handyman who could do almost anything. Joe attended the Berean Baptist church of Rockford, IL. He enjoyed many outdoor activities; fishing, camping, skiing, snowmobiling, but his favorite was being with his family.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents and great grandson Aaron Dyal.
He is survived by his wife Peggy, sons; Joseph Rick (Donna) Dyal of Stillman Valley, Kevin (Jan) Dyal of Rockford, grandchildren; Joe (Amanda) Dyal, Jarid (Amy) Dyal, Jaime (Casey) Wrasse, Sarah Dyal, and Brian Dyal, 5 Great Grandchildren with Twins due in May, 2013, brothers; Thomas (Elaine) Dyal, and Gene (Shirley) Dyal of Lebanon, MO, and brother-in-law Thomas Ward of Rockford.
Funeral service were held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2012 at the Congregational Christian Church in Stillman Valley with the Pastors Chris Brauns of the church and Pastor Mark G. Swanson of the Berean Baptist Church of Rockford co-officiating. Visitation was prior to the service from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the church. Burial was at the Stillman Valley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to be established at a later date.
