On Saturday, July14th a large crowd attended the annual Ace Hardware Breakfast cooked and served by the Oregon Lions Club members at the Ace Hardware Store on Pines Road. Despite the steamy weather and a rain shower, there was a steady line of people in the serving line waiting to enjoy the pancakes and sausage. After breakfast many of them lingered to enjoy the company of friends and neighbors. The breakfast was provided free of charge to the community by Cindy and Jeff Basler who have owned and operated a hardware business in Oregon for over 40 years.
