BYRON — Livi Dengler and Rob Goldsmith are engaged to be wed on August 10, 2012. Rob Goldsmith is the son of Don and Judy Goldsmith from Byron, Illinois. Rob is a graduate of Byron High School Class of 2001.
Rob and Livi are both 2005 graduates of Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Rob graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Secondary Education. He is currently employed as a legislative assistant in Washington, D.C., to Bruce Braley, a Congressman from Iowa.
Livi is the daughter of Dale and Bonnie Dengler of Port Byron, Illinois. Livi is a graduate of Riverdale High School Class of 2001. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Piano Pedagogy. She is currently a fifth grade educator for Falls Church City Public Schools in Falls Church, Virginia.
Rob and Livi are both currently working on their masters’ degrees at the University of Virginia.
They are planning an outdoor wedding in Port Byron on the Dengler family farm. There will be a reception on August 11, 2012, in Colona, Illinois, at Lavender Crest Winery. They will be taking their honeymoon in Hawaii.
