Byron Electric Aggregation Update

BYRON — If you still have questions on the Electric Aggregation program you can call Direct Energy at 866-760-6040. The number listed in last weeks paper may not be the most expedient number to call. There has also been a current update on the customers that use electric heat. Originally they were not going to be included in the program but due to an increase in ComEd rates you will be better off taking advantage of the Direct Energy rate of 0.04789 per kwh. Current summer rates from Com-Ed space heat users is 0.06631 and the non-summer rate is 0.06012 per kwh for all electric or space heat users.
