The Steering Committee for the Shining Star Showcase would like to take this opportunity to thank all the performers, attendees and people that donated to the event to make it a success.
Over 400 people attended the show with 18 performances that were enjoyed by all. The event raised $9,200 for the Megan Clift Memorial Fund, which was established to support both the Choral and Theatre programs at Byron Schools, which were a love of Megan’s. This fund during the 2011-12 school year made $3,000 worth of donations to the Choral & Theatre programs.
Next year’s event will be held on May 10, 2013 at the Byron Middle School Theatre. Mark your calendars to watch or participate in the 2nd Annual Shining Star Showcase. Thanks again for everyone’s support.
