On Saturday, June 16th, Pegasus Special Riders held its annual fundraising picnic. The event was held at the Pegasus facility at 6668 S. Carthage Road. With well over 100 in attendance, the event was a huge success. Attendees enjoyed Rock River Center’s Boot Scootin Seniors as they put on a lively dance presentation. Many thanks to the dancers who braved the heat to perform for our crowd in attendance.
Enough cannot be said about Dave Balch from Ralphie and LuLu’s in Ashton. Dave and his crew of volunteer helpers delivered outstanding pork chops and all the trimmings. Ralphie and LuLu’s has provided the food at the annual Pegasus picnic for many years. Without their support, our event would certainly not be the same.
Pegasus Special Riders, Inc. is a not for profit 501 (c) 3 organization that provides therapeutic horseback riding for people with special needs, regardless of age.
