The Ashton Community Walk Committee would like to thank everyone who joined us Saturday morning for our 1st annual walk to benefit the Ashton Community.
This year’s recipient was the Neil Miller family. We thank everyone for supporting the Millers during this difficult time.
A special thank to our sponsors and all who contributed in some way to make this year’s walk successful including: Crest Foods, Rochelle Community Hospital, KSB Hospital, First National Bank, Ashton Animal Clinic, Ralphie & LuLu’s, JB Plumbing, Manpower, Allyn Buhrow – Independent Pioneer Sales Representative, Ashton Computer Center, Woods of Byron, Petro, Ashton Gazette, Culligan and St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Special thanks to Cliff and Rhonda Jones for the wonderful donuts our walkers and runners enjoyed during the walk, to Ralphie and LuLu’s for the homemade ice cream sundaes and Monsanto for the reusable tote bags. Thank you to Dan Stumpenhorst for laying out the route and Amanda Stumpenhorst for the logo design.
