Dear Editor,
I would like to thank Rod Genandt and Gina Timm for their many years of service as members of the Forrestville Valley School Foundation.
They have been very dedicated and active members of the Foundation, helping to raise thousands of dollars for the betterment of the students and staff in the Forrestville Valley School District.
The Forrestville Valley School Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that annually hosts the Vedra Scramble for Education Golf Outing. Proceeds from the Vedra Scramble are used by the teachers for projects to enhance their classroom curriculum. In addition, the Foundation awards scholarships to graduating seniors at Forreston High School.
It takes volunteers like Rod Genandt and Gina Timm to make these events and scholarships possible. Their hard work and commitment are greatly appreciated.
