BYRON — Elizabeth Nicole Ward and Benjamin Palmer Brooker are engaged to be wed on July 21, 2012 in Valparaiso, Ind.
Parents of the bride are Karyn Wilson of Byron and Robert Ward of Sacramento, Calif.
Parents of the groom are Norman and Brenda Brooker of Valparaiso, Ind.
Elizabeth graduated from Boylan High School in 2008 and from Illinois State University in 2012 with a degree in elementary education.
Ben is a 2006 graduate of Hobart High School, Hobart, Ind. He received his Bachelors degree in geology from Illinois State University in 2010 and Masters degree in geology from the University of Minnesota, Deluth in 2012. He is currently employed at M2 Technical Services.
The couple will make their home in Spokane, Wash.
