Virgil and Sheryl Rocke

OREGON — Virgil and Sheryl Rocke are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at Oregon United Methodist Church on March 28 from noon to 2:30 p.m. The couple will renew their wedding vows following the 10:30 a.m. service and then move to the Family Life Center where all are invited to join the family for refreshments and fellowship.

Virgil and the former Sheryl Carper were married at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Peoria on April 9, 1960. They have three sons, John (Diane Marie), of Oregon, Benjamin, of Lena, and Michael (Maizie Jean), of Rockville, Md. Their three grandchildren are Kevin, Eldon and Maisie Irene.
