OGLE COUNTY — Tuesday’s General Election went well in Ogle County, according to County Clerk Rebecca Huntley.
“The election for Ogle County went fabulously,” Huntley said on Wednesday after the election.
Early voting was an option that 2,900 citizens take advantage of the offering – 580 of those votes were cast at the Flagg Township building in Rochelle.
“The election judges did a great job and I was very pleased with them,” she said. “I think that 2012 was a flawless election day.”
Overall, 23,507 Ogle County residents casted a ballot for the Nov. 6 election — a 67 percent voter turn out.
“Voter turn-out this year was better than four years ago,” Huntley added.
