Two Forreston residents arrested on alleged drug charges

On Friday October 5, 2012 Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Forreston Police Department executed a search warrant at 211 N. Oak Ave in Forreston after citizen complaints about drug dealing at the address.

After searching the residence Deputies arrested William A. Piper, age 22 of Forreston for Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Cannabis with the Intent to Deliver, and Unlawful Use of Weapons. Also arrested was a Tina A. Giese, age 27 of Forreston, for Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Cannabis with the intent to Deliver. Deputies located a quantity of cocaine, cannabis, and schedule 1 prescription drugs. Also located in the residence was a digital scale and large quantity of drug packaging materials used for the sales of illegal drugs.

Sheriff Michael R. Harn would like citizens to know that the Sheriff’s Office is committed to combating the sales and use of illegal narcotics in Ogle County. The Sheriff and his office have a zero tolerance for this activity and encourage the public to report all suspicious activity to the Sheriff’s Office.
