Dear editor,
I would like to urge the voters in County Board District #5 to vote for and return Dan Janes to the Ogle County Board.
Dan is one of our best board members in coming to all meetings with having done his “homework”, ready to work. He has been a dependable leader for the board showing his leadership over the years on county committees such as the chairman of the Zoning, Assessment and Planning Committee and previous chairman of the Long Range & Strategic Planning Committee. He is currently serving on the Executive Committee, Zoning & Planning, and Assessment and Planning Committees.
His skill set and leadership came into great use while he was instrumental in the planning and building of the Judicial Center Annex. Dan is someone I turn to for getting a tough job accomplished while knowing he was doing it right and making sure the taxpayers of our county are getting their monies’ worth.
I am very happy he is running again, as his leadership, knowledge and experience is what the county needs.
