Girls Basketball: Lady Marcos earn November Player of the Game honors

POLO — The Polo High School varsity girls basketball team recognized a trio of its student-athletes with Player of the Game awards during the month of November.

Cam Jones was given the Player of the Game Award for her efforts during Polo’s 65-54 loss to Morrison on Nov. 14 after scoring 20 points and adding four assists, three steals, two rebounds and two blocks.

Courtney Grobe was named the Player of the Game Award winner after recording 15 points as well as five rebounds, three steals and two assists during Polo’s 61-59 win over Hinckley-Big Rock on Nov. 16.

Jones was honored for the second time after compiling 10 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals during Polo’s 52-31 loss against Lena-Winslow on Nov. 21.

Lastly, Sydnei Rahn was given the Player of the Game Award after totaling 11 points, seven rebounds, two steals and one block during Polo’s 43-32 win over Durand on Nov. 29.
