POLO — The Polo High School varsity girls basketball team recognized a trio of its student-athletes with Player of the Game awards during the month of December.
Karlea Frey received the Player of the Game award after giving Polo quality minutes off the bench during a 43-20 loss to Riverdale on Dec. 14.
Cam Jones was the Player of the Game after scoring 15 points with three rebounds, three blocks and one assist in Polo’s 35-28 win over Forreston on Dec. 16.
Sydnei Rahn earned the Player of the Game honor after compiling nine points, five rebounds, five blocks and five steals during Polo’s 43-42 win over Sterling Newman on Dec. 17.
Lastly, Elsa Monaco won the Player of the Game award with nine points, five rebounds, two assists and one steal in Polo’s 55-47 loss to River Ridge-Scales Mound on Dec. 18.
