Girls Basketball: Lady Marcos earn December Player of the Game honors

POLO — The Polo High School varsity girls basketball team recognized a trio of its student-athletes with Player of the Game awards during the month of December.

Madison Glawe was the Player of the Game winner during Polo’s 51-40 loss to Amboy on Dec. 1, when she scored 12 points with six rebounds and one block.

Cam Jones earned the Player of the Game honors after totaling 18 points, nine rebounds, five assists and two blocks in Polo’s 58-38 win over Oregon on Dec. 5.

Carlee Grove was given the Player of the Game honor after recording 17 points, six rebounds and one assist in Polo’s 57-38 win over Milledgeville on Dec. 7.

Lastly, Jones was awarded a second time after scoring 25 points with three rebounds, one assist and one block during Polo’s 59-38 loss to Pecatonica on Dec. 11.
