Grand opening held for Chrissy’s Corner in Oregon

OREGON — Chrissy's Corner recently held a  grand opening in Oregon. Their ceremonial first beer was presented to Doris Rosenbalm, who was a waitress at the location 40 years ago when it was called "Al's Place".

Doris served countless families for 15 years, so the folks at Chrissy's thought it was fitting to serve her their first beer. Doris shared, "I'm very honored today to be served the first beer. I have a lot of great memories here serving families, motorcyclists in the summer, and snowmobilers in the winter. The new owners have got it looking very nice in here! Happy for them!"

Chrissy's Corner is located at 17 N. River Road in Oregon (former Messie's/Trippie's location). Hours of operation are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 3:30-11 p.m., Friday & Saturday from 3:30 p.m.  to midnight, and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Kitchen open until 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Jeff & Dawn Wiechowski are the owners of the business, which is named after Dawn's sister,  who recently passed away.
