Girls Basketball: Lady Marcos earn Player of the Game honors

POLO — The Polo High School varsity girls basketball team presented its Player of the Game Award after three of its recent games in January.

Carlee Grobe received the honor after Polo’s 42-30 loss to Amboy on Jan. 17, scoring 11 points and grabbing three rebounds with one assist.

Cam Jones took home the award after scoring 18 points with six assists, six steals and three rebounds in Polo’s 45-28 win over Dakota on Jan. 20.

Jones brought home the award again after totaling 15 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals in Polo’s 58-40 loss to Ashton-Franklin Center on Jan. 26.
