OGLE COUNTY — Several Ogle County boys basketball players earned NUIC All-Conference honors for the 2023-24 season. Polo’s Brock Soltow took home First-Team All-NUIC honors, while Polo’s Carter Merdian received Second-Team All-NUIC honors.
Forreston’s Brendan Greenfield and Kendall Erdmann were named Second-Team NUIC honors and Mickey Probst was a NUIC Honorable Mention. Polo’s Gus Mumford was also an NUIC Honorable Mention. Forreston's team won the Sportsmanship Award.
