MOUNT MORRIS – Jeffrey A. Cox, age 49, passed away on April 18, 2017 from complications from a stroke in St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford, with his family by his side. Jeffrey was born May 22, 1967 in Dixon, the son of Gerald and Gardia (Himes) Cox.
Jeffrey enjoyed life, helping others, cooking, fishing, spending time with his family; he was a wonderful son. Brother, and loving father.
Jeffrey is survived by his children: Travis, Seth, Deven, Merissa, and Mia Pearl; several brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jeffrey is preceded in death by his father: Gerald and brother: Brian Swartz.
Jeffrey will be sadly missed by those who knew him. A memorial fund has been established at Union Savings Bank, Mount Morris. Please make the checks payable to Jeff Cox Memorial Fund.
Cremation rites have been accorded with Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mount Morris.
