MOUNT MORRIS – Diana Lee (Feary) Buchanan 57, passed away after a long illness Monday Morning Jan. 29, 2018 at Rock Falls Rehabilitation where she had lived for the past 3 years.
She was born July 8, 1960 in Oregon to Donald and Helen (Warren) Feary Sr. She lived most of her life in Mount Morris where she attended school Class of 1978. She was employed by Pinecrest Nursing Home in Mount Morris as a C.N.A. for many years, and also the Neighbors nursing home in Byron. She was an avid reader and her favorite author was Nora Roberts. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and family. She lived most of her life with a canine companion by her side. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and Loved her.
She is survived by her son Lloyd Martin of Mount Morris; brother Donald (Amy) Feary Jr. of Rockford; sister-in-law Sue (Lee) Ossmann of Oregon; sister Marla (Jeff) Spratt of Chana. Also, nephews Dan(Angie) Myers, Dustin Myers, Darin Zuniga, Zach Feary, Nieces Adrienne (Ed) Ridings, April (Kevin) Haas, Missy (Jared) Barcai, and Lavona (Tony Williams) Spratt. Along with several Great nieces and nephews. She also leaves a hole in the heart of her very special care giver Amanda Lutz from the Rock Falls Rehabilitation facility.
Proceeded in death by her son David Martin, grandparents, parents, brothers Dennis and David Feary, and sister Donna Zuniga.
A celebration of life service will be held at the Oregon VFW on Feb. 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. All that knew her are welcomed to attend.
