OREGON – Clyde L. Clubb, 94, Rockford, formerly of Greenville, Mo., and Rochelle, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon.

He was born May 18, 1923 in Wayne County Mo., to the late John F and Fannie B. (Allen) Clubb. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Franklin “Joe” Clubb, Carl M. Clubb, and two sisters, Ruby White and Betty Fox.

Survived by his twin daughters. Denise (Marty) Winterland, Chana, And Deb (Dan) Bond, Stillman Valley. Two brothers Roy “Leon” (Dorothy) Clubb, Greenville Mo. James “Leroy” Clubb of Maplewood, Mo. One sister, Rosetta Vandergriff of Greenville, M0. Six Grandchildren, Valerie (Ed) Rowland, Oregon, Kimberly Hansen, Oregon. Brad (Heather) Winterland, Ashton. Alka Bond, Stillman Valley, Aleana Bond, Houston Texas. And Nathan Bond, Indianapois, Ind. 6 Great Grandchildren: Madison and Nolan Page, Mya Hansen, Cameryn, Chandler, and Raine Winterland. And many Nieces and Nephews whom he loved dearly.

Proudly served in the Army Air Corp. from March 26, 1943 to Jan. 4, 1946. Moved to Rochelle after serving and retired from the former Swift (Rochelle Foods), where he took many continued education courses to be a skilled mechanic.
Was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church Greenville, Mo. Masonic Lodge 244, and Eastern Star in Rochelle, since Sept. 1953 and Greenville, Mo . Tebala Shriners, Rockford, since May 1961. And he sponsored some children to receive care at the Shriners hospitals in St. Louis and Chicago. Over 50 year member of Moose Lodge 903, Rochelle, Knights of Columbus since 1954. Was a member of the American Legion Popular Bluff, Mo. And served as Commander of the VFW post 3878 in Rochelle from 1960 – 1961.

Visitation was held Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, at 4 p.m for family and 4:30 pm. for public at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville. Masonic Services were held at 7 p.m. on Monday, at the Greenville Chapel. Funeral Services were Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at 11 a.m. also at the chapel. Burial with full military honors was held at Greenville City Cemetery, Greenville, Mo. Pastor Dan Ross ministered to the family. Brad Winterland, Nate Bond, Don White, Robbie Vandergriff, Jim Fox and Jerry Clubb served as pallbearers.
