The students and staff of Chana Education Center would like to thank the following groups and individuals for their time, efforts, and donations to our yearly Christmas Basket Project to help support our community: The Camplain Family, Bob Camplain, Etnyre Corporation of Oregon, Kathy Yocum, Mike & Sue Burke, Jean Delhotal, First Presbyterian Church of Franklin Grove, Donna Delhotal, Maplehurst Farms, Linda Wiggs, Mason Lodge #420, Betsy Eckhardt, Chana United Methodist Church, Karen Baylor, Cecilia Zimmerman, Lindy Eckerd, Pat Kloepping, and the Illinois Education Association SCORE Grant Committee. They would also like to extend thank you to all who purchased cookies and other goodies to support the sale. This year the students and staff were able to organize food, clothing, and household item baskets for more than 10 families in need. They supported three families receiving medical treatment for varying types of disorders. Christmas presents were purchased for a family of children who experienced great tragedy receiving services through Serenity House. The students also planned, purchased, and delivered Thanksgiving meal components to staff and families receiving treatment at Serenity House.
