Adams elected vice president

STILLMAN VALLEY – Paige Adams, Stillman Valley 2017 graduate, was elected National Junior Horticulture vice president at its convention in Indianapolis in October.  

She also received the youth NJHA $600 scholarship.

Adams has been an active member of NJHA since October, 2015 where she participated. In her first convention winning a Grand National award in the Extemporaneous speaking contest and a National award in the speaking contest. She attended the 2016 convention in Erie, Pa., and was elected Director at Large.  

She has been an active member supporting and promoting NJHA to her area FFA chapters and on the state FFA level doing workshops at the Illinois FFA convention, Illinois Vocational Ag teachers conference, Chicago area Horticulture teachers workshop and the National Grange youth meeting in Washington DC. Adams and her officers will be planning the 2018 NJHA convention in St. Louis. 
Adams is a freshman at Platteville University majoring Ag Education.
