Man facing aggravated criminal sexual abuse charge

OREGON -- On Tuesday, Sept. 9, Ogle County Sheriff's detectives arrested Matthew Longtin, 26, of Bradley, for aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
The arrest was the result of a complaint filed by a 9-year-old female's family after an alleged incident that took place over Labor Day weekend at the Lake Ladonna Campgrounds located in rural Oregon.

Bank robbery suspect apprehended

OGLE County Sheriff's Office Detectives along with agents with the FBI, arrested Adam Sanborn, 29, of Milton, Fla., in Chicago, on Wednesday, Sept. 10 for his alleged involvement of the Aug. 23 bank robbery, which occurred at the Byron Bank Branch in Davis Junction.
Sanborn was taken into custody without incident and transported back to the Ogle County Jail

Adams to assist in renovation of Ogle County Veterans Memorial
