FORRESTON -- On Sept. 1 at 7:07 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a 911 call of an accident on IL Route 26 just north of Lanark Road, approximately one mile south of Forreston.

FEMA to assess county flood damage

OREGON -- Ogle County Sheriff Greg Beitel announced that beginning Thursday, Aug. 26, FEMA workers will be in Ogle County to conduct assessments and interviews as a result of the July flooding. Public attends courthouse re-dedication

OREGON -- Ogle County Board Chairman Ed Rice welcomed everyone on Friday to the re-dedication of the newly-renovated Ogle County Courthouse in Oregon. The dedication was the result of a decade of planning and remodeling that began in 2007.
